Aloha JK General Ability Test Is Back

General Ability Test (GAT) is a three stage assessment test aimed to nurture child’s emotive and mental capacities. It measures multiple domains of child’s personality.The test is designed to be challenging, but engaging at the same time.

Eligibility:

Students studying in classes 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th. Both Aloha and Non-Aloha students can apply.

Design and Structure:

GAT is conducted in three stages as under;

  1. Prelims: MCQs/Objective type based on the GAT preparatory book (Knowledge Bank – 2023).
  2. Mains: Top 60% of prelims are eligible for 2nd stage (Mains). Mains is a descriptive test based on the classwise prescribed syllabus.
  3. Personality Test: From the Mains, top 50 students from each class will be selected for the 3rd and the final stage, personality test. It is an interaction with experts and a GD for classes 8th, 9th and 10th is also held. Mains and Personality Test are given 80% and 20% weightage respectively for the final ranking.

Registration Fee:

Registration fee for participation in the 1st stage (Prelims) is 700/-, including the cost of Knowledge Bank. Eligible candidates have to pay a registration fee of 700/- for the 2nd stage (Mains).

There will be no fee for the 3rd and final stage (Personality Test) of GAT. Examination dates and venues will be notified separately on due time.

*Prizes will be attractive, however, the decision of Aloha J&K on worth, type and nature of the prizes shall be final and binding for all.
